Carlton L. Gill, Jr.

Carlton has built a sterling 44-year insurance career and has been with Towne Insurance since 2011. He specializes in the sales and service of Commercial Insurance and Surety Bonds, working primarily in the financial services, construction, manufacturing, property-owning (lessors), and real estate development industries.

He graduated from Old Dominion University with a BS in Business Administration and has achieved several certifications, including CPCU, ARM, CLU, and CRIS. Meeting, interacting and helping clients is Carlton’s favorite part of being at Towne Insurance. The challenge of staying current with the insurance industry has kept him focused over the years—always learning and teaching. He is active in the Tidewater Chapter of CPCU (Past President), the Professional Insurance Agents, and the International Risk Management Institute. He was also recognized as the Agent of the Year by the Independent Insurance Agents of Virginia in 2015.
